The library offers programs, collection of books, DVD's and online resources for all ages.
The libraries provides access to a large selection of books and access to web-based materials such as journals, magazines, major Canadian news sources, encyclopedias, literary information, as well as access to public internet stations and printing. The libraries offers various programs and services appropriate for everyone including the following:
  • Computer and Internet Use
  • Book Clubs
  • Writing Groups
  • Tech Help
  • Preschool Storytime
  • Daylight Lamps for help with Seasonal Affective Disorder
  • Cognitive Care Kits: Contents are based on the DementiAbility Method for caregivers, friends and family supporting people living with dementia. The kits contain a variety of activities, games, and books.
  • Home Delivery Service: Books on Wheels to private homes the second Wednesday of every month, between 10 am and noon. Books on Wheels goes to Willingdon Creek Village, Evergreen Extended Care Unit and Kiwanis residences the last Wednesday of every month, between 10 am and noon. For seniors and persons with mobility limitations.
  • Read to Seniors: Volunteers read to seniors in locations throughout the community.
